The Journey of a Sermon
2m read
As we approach the close of 2022, it’s not too early to think about how we can start 2023 off on the right foot. To begin any new year, there’s no better priority than to make sure that we are right with Jesus.
To help our listeners accomplish just that, we are introducing the exciting #Steps2ChristChallenge. It is an email devotional plan that helps you listen to the book Steps to Christ in the first two weeks of the year.
Starting on January 1, participants will receive daily emails to their inbox with the chapter of Steps to Christ for the day along with some devotional questions to focus our thoughts. In just two weeks, you will finish one of the most profound books ever written on having a personal relationship with Jesus. You may be just two weeks away from a renewed experience with Jesus!
Since it may be hard for some of us to find dedicated time to read a chapter each day, we are sharing the audiobook chapters of the book to make sure there is no excuse! It’s also a great option for those listeners who enjoy reading along as they listen. For those who are just starting out in developing habits of daily devotion, this is a great opportunity to practice morning time with Jesus using a structured plan that’s delivered straight to your inbox—especially great if they haven’t read Steps to Christ before!
To sign up for the #Steps2ChristChallenge, just click here!
While it’s best to sign up now to make sure you’re ready to start on January 1, this program will remain open for anyone who wants to join even after that date. In fact, we encourage you to challenge your friends and family to join you in listening to Steps to Christ! There’s no bad time to start!
As I mentioned in my last newsletter, AudioVerse will be at GYC later this month in Phoenix. We can’t wait to meet many of you there, and would love to hear how God has blessed you through this ministry. In fact, we would love to capture your stories (whether by video, audio, or in writing) to share with the rest of the AudioVerse family too! So please come see us at our booth, and even if you’re not able to make it to Phoenix, feel free to contact us by email at contact@audioverse.org to share your testimony with us.
The year isn’t over yet, which means there’s still time for your donation to AudioVerse to go TWICE as far!
The matching funds for the “Meat in Due Season” Project is available through the end of the year, so there’s no time to waste! We need your help to fund the intense data science research and development to accomplish our vision of personalizing the delivery of the present truth to each listener on AudioVerse.
You may give by check to our address below, or you may give at our online donate page. Please note in the memo of your check, or the dropdown selection when giving online for your gift to be allocated to the “Meat in Due Season Project” to ensure it is matched.
If you’d like to give by credit card but want to avoid the transaction fee, you may give on our PayPal Giving Fund page here. Since PayPal Giving Fund does not include a comment box with each donation, all gifts via PayPal Giving Fund through the end of the year will be applied toward the project and matching funds.
May we draw ever closer to Jesus,
Alistair Huong
Executive Director
P.S. Join our exciting #Steps2ChristChallenge where, starting January 1, we will listen through the book Steps to Christ in two weeks. I can think of no better way to start the new year off right! Sign up here, and tell your friends! Also, we’ll be at GYC in Phoenix at the end of this month. Be sure to drop by our booth to say, “Hello!” and we’d love to hear your testimonies of how God has used AudioVerse to bless you. Finally, there’s still time to DOUBLE your donation to AudioVerse!
